New Inductees in our 2016 Miracle Million Club

Let’s give a virtual round of applause for the following:

  • Costco made the Miracle Million Club and did it $1 at a time, focusing on the simple ask. It’s a true testament of how small and simple things can bring about amazing results.

  • Circle K has been fundraising for CMN Hospitals since 2000. This year, three business units participated in the campaign: Heartland, Midwest and Great Lakes. Together they raised $1.28 million for 26 markets.

  • During their 2016 campaign Corner Store and Nice N Easy Convenience Stores surpassed $1 million in their four-week campaign, raising an impressive $2.1 million overall, a 7 percent increase over their 2015 total. Since 1995, Corner Store and Nice N Easy have raised over $25 million in support of 36 member hospitals.

  • Cumulus is now in the MMC club. So far in 2016 they have raised over $1.5 million.  This has been accomplished with the addition of three new markets: San Francisco, Cincinnati and Knoxville.  This bring the total number of Cumulus Radiothons in the first half of the year to 10.
  • As a result of their Mix and Denver stations exceeding $1 million, both CBS and Entercom as broadcast companies qualify as MMC members. There will be about 11 more CBS Radiothons and 6 more Entercom events in the second half of the year.
  • iHeart Media exceeded the million dollar benchmark with 10 markets reaching terrific results so far in 2016. Over $1.5 million has been raised due to the influence of local talent and their creativity in finding new ways to increase exposure and the ask. One of the major sponsors in Albany, New York, increased their donation by $25,000 because they had a good year!

Thank you to the 12 stations that helped iHeart Media reach this mark:

  • Panda Express corporate staff, field teams, restaurant managers and hourly associates participated in the Panda Care’s Associate Giving Campaign earlier this year to raise a record $427,000 from personal donations and payroll contribution pledges. This, together with its in-store donations box program, helped Panda reached the $1 million for 2016. In 2015, Panda raised an impressive $4.9 million, and has raised more than $12 million for 120 children’s hospitals since 2007.

  • Congratulations, RE/MAX, on raising your first $1 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals this year, and earning a spot in the 2016 Miracle Million Club. Through the Miracle Home and Miracle Property programs, RE/MAX offices and agents across the United States and Canada support their communities by making donations on behalf of their clients. Since partnering with CMN Hospitals in 1992, RE/MAX agents have donated more than $147 million to help our 170 member hospitals keep making miracles happen for local kids.

Congratulations, and thank you for supporting local kids.
